Classical ballet and rhythmic gymnastics create a coherent and skillful work in which art and sport combine to make a new approach to a familiar story. Finnish National champion gymnasts and dancers from the Finnish National ballet, simple set design, beautiful costumes and the well known Tchaikovsky music drew attention widely in Finland when this piece was first performed in the legendary Alexander Theatre in 2009.
